Quality That Performs Under Pressure

Precision-tested valves and regulators engineered to exceed expectations in safety, durability, and reliability.

At Seiko Valves, quality starts at the source and is verified through a rigorous, multi-stage testing process. Each valve—whether for boiler systems, firefighting, marine use, or specialty gas—undergoes intense scrutiny to ensure safety, reliability, and performance. From raw material to final inspection, nothing leaves our facility untested.

01 - Design Requirements

Inbound MaterialControl

Seiko Valves begins with uncompromising material quality. All incoming brass, bronze, and steel alloys are thoroughly inspected for composition, hardness, and structural integrity using advanced tools like spectrometry and durometer testers. This foundation ensures consistent performance across all valve types, from boiler trims to SCBA fittings.

DimensionalVerification

Using high-precision Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and optical comparators, each valve is measured to ensure it meets tight tolerance standards. This is vital for critical applications where exact fit and function matter, such as transformer valves and fire system fittings.

Mechanical & PressureTesting

Valves undergo mechanical strength tests including proof pressure, burst tests, valving torque, and hydrostatic pressure tests. These ensure the structural integrity of valves under real-world pressures—especially important for high-demand systems like industrial steam or chemical processing.

Surface Finish & Hardness

Each valve is tested for surface smoothness and metal hardness, ensuring durability under wear and corrosion. This guarantees extended valve life in harsh conditions like marine and dry-cleaning environments.

Leak-Proof SealingTests

Every unit is evaluated with mass flow air pressure and Vibraseal thread seal tests to confirm zero leakage under variable pressure. Leak integrity is especially critical in safety systems like firefighting and breathable air valves.

Non-Destructive Testing

Our Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) detects surface and subsurface defects in ferrous components. This non-destructive method helps identify critical flaws early in the process—particularly in heavy-duty valves or pressurized service environments.

Specialized Application Testing

Valves destined for oxygen service, SCBA, and corrosive chemical systems are subjected to additional custom tests, including flame resistance, corrosion cracking, and endurance cycles. This guarantees high safety and operational standards for mission-critical environments.
